Two Weeks To Go...

So I have two more weeks left at home and then it is back to work for me. But for now I will continue to enjoy my time home with Reece. This week we are getting ready for Christmas!!! We cannot wait for all of our family and friends to be here. It will be wonderful getting to spend Christmas day with my family. I cannot remember the last time I was able to spend the holiday with my family. When you work in retail you do not get to go home much around the holidays. So this Christmas will be very treasured. It will also be Reece's first Christmas which will be fun! We will definitely miss all of our family who are back home.

So last night was a big night for Reece... his first night in his own room. He did well! Of course I wonder if he really knows that he is in his room and not in mom and dad's room? He had a very good night last night but I think he has a hard time falling asleep or he really just doesn't want to go to sleep. He will get a little fussy when he gets tired and he works himself up so much he has a hard time falling asleep. He will fall asleep in our arms but when we put him down he usually wakes back up... Once he finally gets to sleep he will sleep well. He is only six weeks old so I guess for being that little he is doing well! Reece also smiled at mommy and daddy yesterday!!! It was a wonderful sight and I can't wait till he starts smiling more! He gets cuter and cuter every day!

So I also got some exciting news yesterday... one of my good friends Crystal back home in NC is getting married! She is getting married April 17th and I get the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. She is a good friend that I have known since high school. We met through church and have kept in touch over the years. She definitely deserves this and I am so excited for her.

Speaking of NC... Jonathan and I would love to move back and be closer to both sides of the family. Please be praying that doors would open up so that we will be able to make the move a smooth transition. Having a child I think makes you miss the ones you are really close too especially family. Louisville has been an amazing home for us and we will miss it but I think both of us are ready to be closer with family. So that is the first step... now the jobs, where to live, and when to move come next. Please pray that this time will be a joyful time and not stressful. I love to have everything planned out but this time we will have to do a lot of waiting. We will do everything we can to make preparations to move but there is still a lot out of our hands. We will keep everyone updated as we know more!

I will try and get more pictures of Reece up soon!!! (I looked at him the other day and he had a 'Jonathan' look on his face... so handsome!)
