Not so little anymore...

So I haven't written in a little while because things have been crazy! It's a good kind of crazy though! Reece continues to grow. He just had his 4 month check up and is doing wonderful! He is now 24 inches long and weighs 13 lbs 12 oz. He was only 6 lbs 9 oz when he was born. I can't believe he is already twice the size he was when he was born. Reece loves to talk and smile and interact with us. He is turning into our little man. He recently went to visit all of his grandparents and had a wonderful time! He got to meet a lot of relatives on both sides of the family and I know he is ready to be closer to everyone. We have not had any real sickness (knock on wood) so let's hope he stays as healthy as he is now.

Jonathan and I have started the process of trying to move back home to North Carolina. An opportunity for me has presented itself so we are hoping that everything goes through ok. Jonathan has also been presented with an opportunity with AT&T. We are praying that this all works out so that we will be able to move soon. We have started looking for houses which is exciting but also scary. We have been married a little over a year and we have already experienced so many new things I can't imagine that owning a home could be one of them. We are so excited about all of our new changes! And we will definitely keep everyone posted as soon as we know more!!!

Back to work I go...

The holidays and the New Year are over and I am heading back to work. We had a wonderful Christmas! It could not have been better. My parents came into town and this was the first Christmas in many many years that our whole family spent it together. It was so nice to have my parents here. Reece got to spend time with Gigi and Granddad and loved it. This was Reece's first Christmas which was fun for us however he slept through most of it :). Having the parents here and spending the holidays with everyone really makes me miss them!

Reece is growing very quickly and I can't believe he is almost two months old! He is definitely more alert. He will follow Jonathan and I with his eyes more and focus in on us when we talk to him. He has also started talking to us!!! He is learning to use his voice box and start cooing. It is so cute! I will try to take a video of it and post it so everyone can see. He has also started to smile a little more frequently! He is becoming a little man.

We also just found out that Jonathan's sister, Kimberly, is having a little more later on this year!!! Yay for cousins. It will be nice if we are in North Carolina because then we will be a lot closer to each other so that they can get to know each other.

Other than that I am heading back to work tomorrow. We found a wonderful girl to nanny for us so she will be here with both Jonathan and I are at work. She has watched Reece two times so far and has done an amazing job! It will be difficult at first with both of us at work but I know Reece will be just fine.
